Our home internet keeps cutting out due to the heat. It happens every summer. Thanks blackberry!

I went back to the dentist today and found out that they can save my tooth (yay) but I'll need a root canal and crown (boo hiss). I'm not really in any pain, but I'll have a temporary filling for ten days. They kept stressing that if I have any pain over the weekend i should come in for an emergency pulpectomy on monday. I have no pain, but it scares me how many times they repeated this.

Anton is sick. He's got a fever and was up all night long. But now he's sleeping and I fear I should wake him or he'll be up all night again.

Tomorrow is brunch and batman as long as anton is feeling okay. Knowing him, he'd shiver through batman rather than miss a superhero movie. Gotta love him.

Deeper thoughts coming when I have an actual keyboard in front of me.

Found this firefox add-on today...

I like the google image search, since I frequently have to search for shit for design work etc.

the youtube thing is kind of hype since you can't view titles out of zoom view, and I usually want lots of specificity in my youtube searches, but overall it's kind of neat if you're bored and just want to browse around.

July 15th, 2008: Hey I'm thinking of coming out with some new shirts! If you've read something in my comic and you've said to yourself, "MAN I wish I could spend money on that!" why not email me? That way if I get a thousand emails saying MAKE A SHIRT THAT SAYS "WHOAH, CHECK OUT THESE GENITALS" then I'll know you're all crazy. Crazy prescient!

Gadget Love & Denver

One of my coworkers got an iPhone yesterday and now I want one really bad. It is so pretty and I would love to make apps for it.

Also, on a side note, I need to figure out what to do in Denver on Monday afternoon. I should get there around 10 am and my flight leaves at 6:45. I won't have a car so I would have to stick near downtown. Hmm...

What was the first music album you ever bought or owned? Do you still listen to it or have you moved on?

A Bed of Mulch, Just Checking

annnnnd album #1 done! I have one more song to post after this, it just needs some casio drums before it's ready for public consumption.

This is the fourth track on the first CD, and the most quiet. I'll be posting the third track tomorrow, which happens to be the loudest. Laura (and anyone else in my building) can tell you all about enduring it.

Stream it here, or download it here.

Lyrics:

I haven't seen this person since I was five, but I ran into a girl who knows him, and apparently he got into skateboarding in his teens and then became a web developer. He was my first best friend. His mom fed us apples with cinnamon and sugar and we watched lots of Mr. Rodgers. There was a house past the big field that he insisted a witch lived in. We both had a crush on the same girl in Kindergarten.

giardia

clio has giardia, an intestinal parasite, that can apparently spread like crazy.

i've been reading www.chins-n-quills.com posts to try to figure out the best way to deal with this. she was living with loki when her symptoms hit, so he'll most likely get it too.

both their cages will have to be thoroughly disinfected multiple times while they are being treated, it seems. maybe that steamer that we never use on clothes will come in handy, along with copious amounts of hypochlorite ion (bleach).

there's so little room in this apartment to take on this kind of task. :-( re-infection rates are high if cleaning isn't done properly.

cleaning is not my strong suit.

clio is currently okay, aside from having very mushy poo. i'm really just trying to figure out how to do so massive a disinfection at this point. the idea of it is really daunting.

and this comes so shortly after she healed from the surgery she had done in march. can't my baby catch a break?

Hey everybody!

Kind of a strange question but...does anybody remember which Morrissey site it was (an official or semi-official one, not a fansite type thing as I recall) that had the "Ask Morrissey" section? Thanks!
